There are lots of ways prepaid gift cards can work towards increasing employee morale, loyalty and efficiency and productivity. Here are 10 ideas that can boost productivity:

Have an employee of the month, acknowledging the individual for being awarded the honour and the reason why they were picked and reward them with a VISA gift card. The recognition element is more valuable than the reward, which can be as little as a $50 gift card.

Acknowledge and celebrate staff birthdays with <a title=”Corporate prepaid gift cards” href=”http://www.corporateprepaidgiftcards.com.au/”>corporate prepaid gift cards.

Encourage and recognize staff who pursue continuing education. This is a great way to have a team of employees who strive harder to bring more to the workplace. Your incentive to employees who pursue continuing education could be a card to he spent in a bookstore or on the college campus.

Establish a board where staff can display questions, photos, memos, and chart their progress on projects. Award staff who excel and participate and allow co-workers to vote on the co-worker who contributes the most or performs the best.

Award department specific performance.

Allow staff to nominate each other, each month for best co-worker, awarding the coworker with a prepaid VISA, eftpos, or retail gift card.

Reward employees who meet critical deadlines with a prepaid VISA, eftpos, or retail gift card.

Celebrate achievements for an employee or group of employees with a prepaid gift card.

Have a suggestion box, and each month reward the employee with the best suggestion with a prepaid eftpos, VISA or retail gift card.

Recognise employees who volunteer in the community with a prepaid VISA, eftpos or retail gift card. This is a great way to enhance your company “putting into” the community, as well as having employees with a stronger sense of responsibility.

The list of ideas is endless, but the bottom line is the same. When you reward employees, they work harder, and productivity is increased. A simple $25 gift card a month to an employee with the best suggestion or the best work performance could result in less employee sick time, increased productivity and increased loyalty in the workplace. Employers around the world are finding ways to incentivise their employees as rewards go a long way. Employees like to be recognised.
